Dial provides a free, confidential information and advice service on all issues affecting disabled people to help them to improve their quality of life. We can help with benefit checks for income maximisation, benefit application form completion, appeals and information on equipment, holidays, leisure, community care, independent living, mobility, transport and any other problem they may have.

CITY OF EXETER YMCA

To provide supported housing for vulnerable single young people between the ages of 18-29, predominantly young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, with support tailored to each individual so that they can develop independent living skills that will enable them to belong, contribute and thrive when they move on to living independently.

CROSSWAYS COMMUNITY

We help people who experience enduring mental health difficulties. Accommodation is available for up to 40 people mainly through our registered care home, hostel & independent living flats in tunbridge wells. We offer person-centred care and our residents are encouraged through their support workers to take responsibility for their own lives with a view to moving back into the local community.

THE NATIONAL YOUTH ADVOCACY SERVICE

Nyas is a socio-legal charity providing advice, advocacy, information and legal advice to children, young people and vulnerable adults. Nyas also provides independent visitors who befriend children in care, and we undertake regulation 44 visits of children homes. Under rule 16.4 of the family proceedings act we represent children and young people in private law family proceedings.

Witton lodge community association owns and manages over 200 homes for social and market rent, including a 40-apartment independent living scheme. We are an almshouse charity providing flats in taunton to people aged 60 and over who are in need and capable of independent living. We provide part time warden assistance and every flat benefits from communal laundries and our beautiful gardens. We also run a monthly grant scheme that benefits taunton deane residents who can demonstrate financial need.
