Examples of what strictly necessary cookies do on the We Are Everywhere Platform:

• Maintain your session while you enter the postcode, age group, select categories, and identify care needs, so that your selections are not lost as you move through the app
• Protect the Platform against security threats such as cross-site request forgery
• Remember that you have seen and responded to our cookie consent banner

3.2 Analytics Cookies (with your consent)With your consent, we use analytics cookies to understand how users interact with the Platform. This helps us improve the user experience, identify technical issues, and understand which features are most useful.

The We Are Everywhere mobile app uses session-based storage to process the information you enter (postcode, age group, category selections, and care needs). This data is used in-session to generate your list of matching charities. Individual user selections (postcode, age group, category, care need) - we also convert this data into aggregated, anonymous statistics; the anonymous statistics are used for business analysis and advertising purposes.

The app does not use persistent tracking cookies to follow your activity across other apps or websites. The Communicator feature (available to registered charities only) uses session cookies to maintain your login state while you are active within the app.

When you first use the Platform, you will be presented with an "Accept All" option for cookies. By selecting "Accept All", you consent to our use of cookies as described in this Cookie Policy.

You can change your cookie consent and manage cookies directly through your browser or device settings. Most browsers allow you to:

• View cookies stored on your device
• Block all or specific cookies

Please be aware that blocking or deleting strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Platform from functioning correctly. It will not affect your ability to use the app's core matching functionality if you access it on a mobile device without a browser.

Where a user identifies as a minor within the app, we apply the same cookie practices as for adult users. Strictly necessary cookies are used to maintain their session. Analytics cookies are only set with consent, and we do not use any advertising or profiling cookies in relation to any user, including minors.

Our cookie practices are designed in accordance with the principles of the Age Appropriate Design Code (AADC), including applying high privacy settings as the default for all users.
